The quality of hair is like silk, and the hair does not shed. I had intended to use this mannequin to practice tinting but I don’t have the heart to change the color it came with from the factory –it is a the most beautiful shade of pale gold I have ever seen. This is very much different than the mannequin I had in cosmetology school!
I’ve been a Pivot Point customer for 35 years, since beauty school. Pivot Point manikins have always stood alone in quality and craftsmanship. I literally have Violas I have been using for demos for 25 years! I have manikins I used in school and the quality is the same. Learning is easier with a realistic head shape and size.
