I purchased this mannequin for my final exam and also to start practicing to get familiar with her. I’ve only had her since March 4th and the hair quality is absolutely HORRIBLE! It feels so rough and water doesn’t even penetrate it, the flyaways are insane too. I definitely regret purchasing this mannequin. Never again.

Kate is a great mannequin for our in house education. The hair is natural, a great length for learning all cuts, and color techniques in a classroom setting. We have tried others at a similar price but Kate is the best quality and value
The heads are a bit small but the quality of hair is good. They’re a bit resistant to lightener but they do lift fairly well if you’re patient. They style great!
My whole salon team ordered Kate mannequins to use for color and cutting classes. We have used her for 6 classes and can still get some clipper practice out of her!
sheds way too much. not 100% real human hair
This is a great price for anyone who needs a practice mannequin. I practiced i-tip and tape extentions on her and highlights (low volume) and color, both came out great! She is getting her hair cut next! A great deal for those of us on a budget!
I bought this mannequin specifically because it was the MOST BUDGET FRIENDLY mannequin for sale on Pivot Point’s website. I was skeptical because it says it’s 50% human hair & 50% natural hair and I don’t know what they mean by natural?? She is great for cutting hair & getting used to using your shears. Because it’s not 100% human hair, doing chemical services on her really didn’t work out the way it would have if it was an actual client. I would still buy her again because you can’t beat that price compared to most other manufacturers.
